Welcome to our homepage!

On the following pages we will present to you our Dobermanns, our stud males, brood females and also our litters with photos of the puppies.

We also have a page of our loved Dobies who have gone over the bridge....We will never forget them....

We will also inform you about the current news concerning our kennel and our planned litters.

Here is a short introduction of our Dobermann history:
In 1988 we got our first Dobe, a blue male called Mitsch vom Moerser Schloss. Because of this male I fell in love with the breed and in a very short time this love grew more and more. In order to learn as much as possible about the breed and the character of the Dobes and to know what is best for them, we joined the German Dobermann Verein. Thru the DV we improved our knowledge of the breed. In December 1990 we applied for our kennel

"von der Horringhauser Höh".

All total we have had the twenty-one litter in November 2004.

As a responsible breeder we test our breeding stock for the following health tests:

- HD (OFA)
- Eyes (CERF)
- von Willebrand Disease
- Cardio
- Thyroid
- Dilute

Because of the intensive supervision and socialization from an early age our puppies are always open and friendly and well adjusted for the transition to their new owners. Of course we help the new owners of our puppies with all the questions they may have.

Also the people who are interested buying a Dobe are always welcome to ask questions...we will answer all the questions as best as we can via e-mail!

But now we wish you a lot of fun and hope that you are enjoying your visit at our pages. It would be very kind of you if you could sign my guestbook!

Thank you

Andrea Lehmann & v.d. Horringhauser Höh Dobermanns

I WILL LEND YOU A DOBERMAN

I will lend to you for a while, a Doberman pup, God said

For you to love him while he lives and mourn him when he's dead

Maybe for twelve or fourteen years, or maybe two or three.

But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?

He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,

You'll always have his memories as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return,

But there are lessons taught below I want this pup to learn,

I've looked the whole world over in search of teachers true,

And from the folk that crowds life's land, I have chosen you.

Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain,

Nor hate me when I come to take my Dobie back again,

I fancied that I heard them say "Dear Lord Thy Will Be Done",

For all the joys this Dobe will bring, the risk of grief we'll run.

We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,

And for the happiness we have known, forever grateful stay.

But should you call him back much sooner than we've planned,

If, by our love, we've managed, your wishes to achieve,

The memory of him and his love, will help us while we grieve.

When our faithfull bundle departs this world of strife

We'll have yet another Doberman and love him all his life.
